Bringing Spatial “Omics” From Glass to Clinic
Established in 2020 at the University of British Columbia, the Molecular and Advanced Pathology Core aims to bring spatial “omics” from the laboratory to patient care in the clinic. Through multiplexing 40+ custom immunofluorescence markers using the province’s only Cell DIVE™ platform, alongside Xenium imaging-based in situ spatial profiling technology, the Molecular and Advanced Pathology Core is advancing the success of “omics” research by translating discoveries into clinical applications.
As a University of British Columbia (UBC) affiliated core facility, we operate on a not-for-profit, cost-recovery model to ensure research remains sustainable and accessible for academic stakeholders, while offering alternative pricing structures for private sector partners.
The Molecular and Advanced Pathology Core is a core facility affiliated with the University of British Columbia Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine, Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute, and BC Cancer Research Institute.
